The 18.104.22.168’s, Guitar Wolf and The Jet Boys bring you to Tokyo Jet Daze: A Japanese Punk Weekender
RCC is set to transcend the mortal realm as these three legends of Tokyo’s underground garage punk scene band together for this two day and night RCC exclusive – the first time these three seminal’s 80’s Japanese punk icons have played together outside of Japan.
Headlining both nights are the undisputed queens of Japanese punk rock and goddesses in their own right — The 22.214.171.124’s.
Popular well before starring in Tarantino’s Kill Bill. Vol. 1, The 126.96.36.199’s have continued to confront the myths surrounding Japanese femininity and identity, with their beehives, guitars and go-go.
Joining them with full-tilt naked enthusiasm on Friday 28 February are The Jet Boys.
Rounding out the Weekender are the seemingly unstoppable rockers, Guitar Wolf who take to the stage on Saturday 29 February.
Come join all the mayhem of our 1980’s Japanese punk matsuri on 29/02 from 5pm til the bands kick off at 9pm. Witness the Boxwars, the Motorcycle Society and Onoching himself take-over the Cloisters lawns and pay thanks to the spirit of Japanese Punk.
